N & N: A Fall Wedding at Cabins on Strawberry Hill in Strawberry, Arizona

There’s something about fall in the Arizona pines along the Mogollon Rim that feels entirely different from the desert below—and N & N’s wedding at The Cabins on Strawberry Hill was the perfect example.

Tucked beneath towering pine trees and surrounded by changing leaves, the entire day had that unmistakable feeling of fall. Cabins scattered throughout the property, mountain air, warm light filtering through the trees—it was the kind of setting that made everyone want to settle in and stay awhile.

But more than anything, this day was full of love. Their closest people gathered in Strawberry to celebrate alongside them, and there was such an ease to the entire day. The kind of wedding where people were genuinely present—hugging a little longer, laughing constantly, and soaking in the chance to all be together in one place.

We slipped away beneath the pines for a few quiet minutes together—one of those rare pockets of a wedding day where everything else seems to fall away. No rush, no production. Just the two of them, taking it all in.

Surrounded by their favorite people and framed by the changing trees, they made it official. The ceremony felt intimate and completely present—the kind where you could feel just how much love existed not only between the two of them, but throughout everyone gathered there.

As the sun disappeared behind the trees and the temperature dropped, everyone cozied up around the fire before the celebration really got going.

And once it did, it really did.

The dance floor was packed, the energy never let up, and it felt like no one was quite ready to admit the night eventually had to end. If they could have kept dancing and celebrating with their nearest and dearest until morning, I’m pretty sure they would have.

It was everything a fall wedding in the mountains should be—warm, relaxed, wildly fun, and centered around the people who matter most.

The Cabins on Strawberry Hill made such a beautiful backdrop for a weekend that felt less like a single wedding day and more like everyone escaping to the mountains together for one really good celebration.
