Olivia & Theo: Desert Maternity Portraits at Lost Dutchman State Park

Incredible views of the Superstition Mountains set the backdrop for Olivia and Theo’s maternity session in Arizona. We met at the base of the mountains with no sense of how close they were to meeting their baby boy, Atlas—just hours later, and two weeks ahead of schedule.

Photographing Olivia and Theo felt easy from the start. They were comfortable, present, and completely at ease together. Two people truly in love. It felt like a quiet pause—time to slow down and document their last moments before stepping into parenthood together.

Olivia and Theo were comfortable together in a way that doesn’t need much guidance. My role was mostly to observe, offer light direction when needed, and let the rest unfold. The landscape supported that approach—quiet, expansive, and grounding, without pulling focus.

While Olivia and Theo are widely known for their time on reality television—each having built careers through Love Island and The Challenge—that visibility never defined the session. Our time together felt grounded and normal, focused on comfort and connection.

And of course, a huge congratulations to Olivia for winning Season 41 of The Challenge: Vets & New Threats! What a momentous year for such an incredible mom-to-be.
