L & S: Phoenix Arizona Engagement Portraits

We met up in one of those hidden spots just outside the city where the landscape completely shifts—soft, rolling hills, tall golden grass, and an open sky that seems to go on forever. It felt quiet, a little wild, and like the perfect place to slow down for an evening.

I had so much fun photographing L & S! From constant giggles to silly jokes, they made the entire session feel light, easy, and full of personality. The kind of couple that keeps each other laughing one second and then effortlessly slips into the sweetest, quiet moments the next. Being around them just feels good—and that energy shows up in every photo.

Th expansiveness of this location is unlike others around Phoenix! It reminded me of when I lived in Southern Oregon.

The sun began to dip behind the hills and the grass took on a beautiful glow. The light showed up in the best way as the sun began to dip below the hill—soft and glowy, wrapping everything in that warm Arizona tone that never gets old.
